its a power issue....

your trying to power everything up via the pi zero and the power bank and something has to give....

and your usb hub may have drawn the short straw...

i suspect once everything is powered up the usb hub isnt able to power the controller and the flash drive you have in it (can you supply power to the hub seperately)....


the flash drive, is it really needed... just put the games on the sd card for now.... just have the controller hooked up to the pi for now and everything will work fine....
