Hi there,
As with many other here, I am having trouble with getting the screen working on the MintyPi. I initially got it to work last night with the 3.3V mod that Helder posted, however in the morning it didn't work anymore.
I attempted to go over the soldered sections on the Pi for the screen numerous times, but no joy. The screen now is dim black, but you can faintly see it get a little brighter at times as it goes through the booting process (and presumably the intro video etc.) No amount of filing and resoldering is helping. Foolishly I do not have a multimeter to check continuity.
The Pi itself works, as I can connect to the TV and boot in just fine, but in doing so, I found that when trying the rubber membranes, I wouldn't get a single button to work, not even start and select lol...
Any ideas what might be causing the issue? I have pics attached. I think I'll give up on this for now, and might be willing to pass it onto an expert in the UK who might have a clue. Would appreciate any help/feedback. Thanks!

It could be that the ground GPIO pinhole doesn't have a good connection, since that's shared by all the buttons as well as the screen.

Just attempted redoing GND GPIO, and still the same
It's 12:30am here, so I'll call it a night. Thanks for the suggestion!

No problem. It reeeaaally sounds like a bad ground connection but I could be wrong.
I'd encourage you to grab a cheap multimeter - you don't need a super nice expensive one to reliably check continuity/resistance.

The only way to check is with a multimeter, hell any multimeter will work so please get one and this way we can stop shooting in the dark with soldering random spots and potentially ruining some pad or board in the process.
