Not sure if anyone has experimented with this yet. When 3d printing my faceplate I had 2 things nagging me:
- the pi logo was really cool but hard to see
- I didn't have a dark red/purple color that matched the cinnamon flavored altoids tin

I also smoothed out everything using sandpaper (220 moving up to 2,000) and brasso polish. I printed this on a prusa i3 mk2, using Slic3r PE and a prusa app called ColorPrint that allows you to change filament mid-print. Using .20 mm layer heights I ordered the color change at the 3rd layer, 0.60 mm. Hope you like it!
