help with audio

Post by king » Sun Aug 13, 2017 4:01 pm

ok, so i do not have a clue what to do for the audio part of the build and was hoping smoeone from here could help me.

I have a usb sound card, an adafruit amplifier, the gameboy socket for headjack, the gameboy volume wheel (there are only 2 pins left, but i think if i solder the wires into the holes under where the pins used to be it should still work) and a raspberry pi zero(ofcourse :3). I have tried to make it work several times to no success. The last time i tried to make the audio work, i used the diagram from macx

but now when put current into the pi, it doesnt turn on. Its probably some troubles with the positive and negative wires being switched or something, but i have checked 3 times the plan and what i put together and i think i did it correctly

I can't say for sure that this works as I have not gotten to this part of my build, but dirtybeagles has a good diagram in this thread:
