new button to go back

hi there,
i was working on my gbz build today, and i was wondering if it would be possible to put a button on the side to go back. The way i have mine set up is when you go in game youre in game, and if you want to go back to the retropie menu(to choose other games or something) you need to restart the gameboy completely. I was wondering if i could make a button to fix that, and how would i go to do that?

You would have to wire it up as Start And Select i belive (Or you might be able to configurate it on retropi settings)

ok so im wiring the button, but it is not working . 1 wire to pin 12( bcm 18(pwm0)) and the other one to pin 34(ground).
i have also changed the retrogame.c file to

but when i write to make retrogame, it starts giving me a bunch of errors :c

is there something i am missing

to go back to retropie menu, you just have to press start and select together.....

if you have it setup any other way i would start a fresh with retrogame and just leave it as start/select to press....

adding a seperate button for something that already exists is pointless....

when i press start + select nothing happens
only way i was able to activate the retroarch menu in the game, was to remap the hotkey thing to another button
so the new button was my solution to this problem

never mind i was able to fix my problems, and i was able to change the hotkey's mapping :3
