Question regarding power bank circuit

Post by salami738 » Mon Sep 18, 2017 10:44 am

Hi,

i saw that i can use the Adafruit 1000C as charger and step up module.
Does anyone got experience in using a powerbank circuit like:
https://www.banggood.com/Dual-USB-5V-1A ... mds=search?

According to the specs it has anything we would need:
- Over/Undervoltage protection
- Short circuit protection
- 2/1A step up to 5V

I would like to know about the known issues about this or similar models?
I saw on youtube that you have to press a button to enable the step up. Can this be bypassed?

greetings from Germany!

It doesn't look like this board can both charge and provide current to the load. :|
The 1000C can do both at the same time

Take a look at this board. It provides both charging and discharging at the same time...
