Battery charging

Hey guys!
I have a 6000mAh 3.7V lipo battery that should fit well in the case, but I fried the charging circuit..
So now I've been looking for a charging circuit + protection circuit + booster and the best choice would be the Adafruit Powerboost 1000C. Now I'm thinking it would be smarter price wise to just buy another power bank and steal the circuit board.
Some questions:
• Do the mAh from my Lipo and the charging board have to match?
• Does the max Amp draw depend on the battery or the circuit board?
• And should 2A max draw be enough for rpi2 + the BW epathChina screen (says 2W) + 3W audio Amp?

What do you mean? AFAIK most charging boards will work, the only thing you need to worry about is the number of cells in the battery. You most likely have a single-cell battery, so boards such as the PowerBoost 1000C should work.

Both. The PowerBoost 1000C supports a 2A max draw, but the battery should also be able to support this.

It looks like the rpi2 has a maximum of 4W drawn, which means 9W. At 5 volts, this is 1.8 amps, which should be fine.

On a side note, I'm actually thinking I should just buy the single parts (protection, charger, booster).
Has anyone done this and can tell me if this is way less efficient?
Is there anything else I should be looking out for?

No, that's not necessary. As long as you have a protection circuit that supports the current draw you need and is suited for the number of cells you have, it should be fine.
For example,

would probably be fine, because it supports a 2 amp draw and is for a single-cell battery (although shop around first, I picked the above randomly).

I'm not 100% sure as different battery packs aren't the same, but both of them should work. However, on the second battery, Quick Charge won't activate because it needs a specific signal to do so, but it should still act as a normal battery.
