new build issues

Hi all , I got hold of one of kites SAIO boards of the for sale board which was pre soldered by kite.
Just finished the build and everything started up ok but now I seem to have a few probs
1. no charging light comes on at all so cannot tell if its charging
2. put usb stick in and nothing happens the pi zero light doesn't flash just stays on
3. cannot here any sound when moving through the menus
4.wifi seems to go on and off at will
I very new to this and have not got my head round all the software side of things
Hopefully I'm just being stupid and missing something any help would be great thanks

For the sound missing in the menus, this is normal as by default the sound is not activated in themes.

Do you have a battery comnected ? And if yes, is it in good condition ? Did you respect the polarity ?

For the wifi, you may have a short on the mode button. I can see a picture of the mode button ?
By the way, send us more pictures from battery, battery connection and so...

For your usb stick stuff, be more precise... what are you trying to do ?

Thanks for the reply , realised I should of posted this in the support forum for kites board sorry for that.
Iv sorted the wifi that was just me being stupid and connecting it to the wrong network it now works fine.
With the usb I was trying to put roms on and nothing seems to be happening , I'm going to re install a fresh image and start again.
The power polarity is connected up correctly I just don't get the charging light on when plugged in. The battery is new, I'm hoping its not faulty.
I need a good few hrs tinkering but its hard with two kids running around hahah
