Hey guys,
Just curious if anyone has ever used one of these N64 joysticks in a GBZ build?

It looks like (to my untrained eye) that it's not a true analog stick, but instead is a modified D-pad (I could be wrong).
Even if it is a genuine analog stick, I'm using a teensy, which I understand will accept analog joysticks, but I've never tried it so I'm not exactly sure how to set everything up.
I'm sure there are much better options as far as joysticks are concerned, I just happened to have an old N64 controller laying around and thought it might make a cool addition.

Re: N64 Joystick
Sure, should be simple if it is an analog stick, it simply reads as two potentiometers. There are some sketches on the wiki that allow analog sticks, or you can send me your code and I'll give it a shot at adding an analog stick input to it. I think the reason they havent been common in builds is because theyre fairly bulky for smaller builds like the GBZ and the quality of ps2/xbox sticks are better than repro n64 sticks for larger builds. But I don't think there is anything stopping you from using it, and if you want that authentic n64 experience then go for it.
