Had a quick question.

Post by NewBuilderMaker » Sun Oct 22, 2017 9:44 am

So.....pretty new to this. I apologize if I'm asking any dumb questions (or questions already asked/answered). Just gonna hop in with my predicament.

Bought my GB DMG case.
Bought a UCTRONICS 3.5 inch display.
Bought the list of parts for PG Zero on Adafruit (minus their PCBs; I bought a Gameboy Zero PCB to use that as I didn't have enough left for softac switches).
Bought a Pi Zero W.
Got some 24 gauge AWG wire.

My current piece of confusion lies here: in trying to wire the PCB to the Pi, I'm having some trouble finding any diagrams or what have you. I should also mention I was unable to purchase a Teensy (money issue, not availability) so this would indeed be going directly to the Pi.

Again, if this is repetitive in any way that's my bad. Was directed to the site/forum by a friend on Twitter, so I'm a tad unfamiliar with where to look for this type of thing (I did figure this was a hardware related issue though. I was at least able to put 1+1 together. 😂) Any help offered is very much appreciated. You folks have a great day!

Welcome to the forums, check out the discord server too!

Check this out, great guide for using gpio pins instead of a teensy. It's the guide i always use.
