Issue with Powerboost and power breakout
So my gameboy zero has been going really well so far and I have just finished Wermy's guide 4. I decided to jump ahead a bit and have a go at connecting my battery to the powerboost and also wiring up things like my screen, usb hub etc to the breakout board. My problem is that when I connect my power switch to the EN and GND pins on the Powerboost it works but as soon as I connect the power breakout board to pins G and 5V on the powerboost everything stops working? The powerboost starts getting really hot and I quickly desolder the wires. Not sure what to do but I'm sure I am connecting to the right pins on the Powerboost?

Re: Issue with Powerboost and power breakout
Hi,
I don't have started my Build yet, so I can't tell you from my own experience, but I'd guess that theres a short between GND and 5V somewhere on or behind your breakout board. Did you check that using a multimeter?

Yep, sounds like a short. Definitely check with a multimeter before connecting everything again!

Re: Issue with Powerboost and power breakout
@witti @wermy Thanks for the help, a quick google about short circuits and it says I might need a fuse? I think I'll just wait for wermy's next part to the guide, don't want to break anything now!
