2500mah adafruit battery
2500mah adafruit battery
Sorry if I'm asking something that has already posted. I purchased the adafruit 2500mah battery. I saw that it was recommended. It seems too wide to actually go inside the battery compartment. If I cut the case then the battery door cover will sink in. There it a part of the battery wrapped in tape. Can I bend that to help it fit or will it destroy the battery?

I wouldn't bend anything on the battery. I think I have the same battery as you and I ended up removing the inside of the battery compartment including the left side screw post. If you do this the battery will fit nicely and if your build is clean enough inside it should still fit nice and tight even with only 3 screws holding it together.

if you use the search function in this section of the forum....
you also find postings about batteries that are better suited to the Gameboy case/shell that require no modifications...
heres one example...

Re: 2500mah adafruit battery
Thank you. That was going to be my next question. I would prefer not to modify the battery compartment that much for the ada fruit 2500mah.
I could not find any 4000mah before I ordered the 2500mah, but I will checkout the link you sent.
Thanks for you help. I am very new at this. It’s my first build. I just pre-ordered Kite’s circuit sword and I just don’t want to make any mistakes.
