In December I ran out of generic Safe Shutdown boards and have hadn't planned to restock, but have recently been looking at replacing the low battery alert with analog monitoring.
I'd like to do a run of these with an integrated ADS1015. I also plan to increase the current rating of the traces to the switch's maximum of 2.5A.
Is this something people would be interested in? It's been a while since I've produced anything but battery monitoring seems like it would be a welcome addition.
this would be great.....
as your considering to have a rating of 2.5A....
would you be also looking to make it compatible with Helders Retro PSU, just giving the board a broader range
even thou his also has the function of the ADS1015, but there isn't a graceful shutdown solution to his board at the moment...
and with the release of the Pi3A+, its something that I personally would like to pair up (and I'm sure a lot more will as well)
also, the battery monitoring isn't really a big thing as the shutdown from the on/Off switch (IMHO)....
(especially as you can buy a ADS1015 board for around a $1)
but I appreciate that its something that would make the board a little more attractive (and keep it at a decent price point for you)
I'd definitely be interested
