A/B Button issue on circuit gem

Post by c0unt0 » Sun Mar 03, 2019 12:28 pm

Hi all,

I’ve almost finished my build (waiting on final battery, but got it running with a tiny 100mah), and noticed that I cannot jump high enough in most Mario games (tested on gb and nes version of Mario), other games and general navigation is fine, and those ROMs are also fine running on a circuit sword GBZ.

Did I mess something up?

Try cleaning the contacts on the PCB with some rubbing alcohol or a cloth or something, from manufacturing they often have a very fine layer of 'stuff' (maybe grease/flux?) that needs cleaning off to make a good contact
