Cant open up retroarch menu with N64 games?

Post by X.. » Fri Mar 08, 2019 6:53 pm

Not sure if this is the best place to post questions
about retroarch quarks and features;

but, I was wondering if anyone has found a way
to open up the retroarch menu when using the
N64 emulator?

the caveat is that the menu will open up when I
am using the Standard N64 emulator (lr-mupen64plus),
but the rom im trying to play doesnt work on this specific
version and only runs on gles2n64. The standard hotkey
or hotkey combos do not work for opening up the menu,
and this is even with a keyboard attached to the GBZ.

If youre wondering what Im trying to do: I am trying
to open up the cheat menu to make Harvest Moon 64
slow down, the times runs too fast. If you can find a way
to solve this issue other than opening up the retroarch
menu to access cheats then Id love to hear your advice!

Thanks All!

To get the menu you must use software that starts "lr-" .. anything without will not show you that menu

Ahhh ok. I didn't know that.
Just a bummer that the N64 games are hit and miss with the emulators.
