I can’t seem to figure out how to turn the system off and on like normal.
If the system is on and I flip the top switch it seems to just kill emulationstation and just sits at the terminal without powering off.
If I flip the switch on the small green board on the front then flip the top switch it will kill emulationstation then power off (Though, I’m skeptical that this is a safe shutdown because you don’t see the script run) but using this method, you can’t turn the system back on unless you flip the switch on the front green board. Obviously not feasible in a case.
What do I do?
Solution: used 32teeth’s gaboze img and modded controller and audio configs.

Re: Powering off
Small rant but this has been the most unenjoyable build I’ve done. I’ve had 2 blank pcbs since November 2018. Fried a tiny resistor twice on one and can’t figure out why, and this one can’t seem to run correctly. Screen problems. Audio problems. Power problems. I don’t really like the premade img but I can’t seem to get my own working because I can’t figure out the pinout. I have a gpi case coming this week. I may drop these two in a box and never look at them again. Sorry.

Re: Powering off
The board is not useable. I took a dremel to it. The rest is so cheap and readily available online , it’s not really worth my time to pack up and ship out.
