Yeah, I can't argue with that.jermzz wrote:Everyone is going to want one regardless of if they already have a board, and whether it has the audio issue or not. Basically, either way you probably would buy this board anyway.

Re: [For Sale] $5 Game Boy Zero Controller PCB W/ Optional Audio $14 (Worldwide)
People there is no need to argue over this, I have given anyone who ordered the new audio boards who are waiting for them an option to get a refund and get the All in One in exchange so if you're on that list I can offer that to you. If this does well then I will simply setup a preorder right away so anyone who does preorder gets one but it will likely be this way after this run.

Hey @Helder would it be possible to see a circuit diagram of the old audio board and the new one? I wanna know if you just applied your hot fix from the old board to the new one or its be redesigned completely. I would like to get one of the new ones on the next run or the one after but I would like to know of I could modify the old board to work exactly like the new one or just apply the hot fix if it's the same thing

hi @Helder,
I think I am on the list of people who have ordered the new audio board, if you say that I can pre-order A All in One I'll be glad to do this ! (I am not asking for a refund, your work should be recognized)

The new fixed version simply has the lifted pins going to a pad called Switch and one is on a test point to future proof it, and there is now an extra Audio pad for the speaker and the extra GND pad for the Volume wheel.Sparx52 wrote:Hey @Helder would it be possible to see a circuit diagram of the old audio board and the new one? All of this can be done on the faulty boards but obviously not have the extra pads and easier labeling on the board.

So basically I can just follow the traces on your image and copy wire placement from there then?Helder wrote:The new fixed version simply has the lifted pins going to a pad called Switch and one is on a test point to future proof it, and there is now an extra Audio pad for the speaker and the extra GND pad for the Volume wheel.Sparx52 wrote:Hey @Helder would it be possible to see a circuit diagram of the old audio board and the new one? What is switch for? And where does the speaker negative go? If you didn't isolate that ground pad from common ground then your going to have the same issue as before

The setup is basically the same as the first picture on the first post. When I get the boards in I'll make a new wiring diagram. That ground on the lower part is there for convenience and not to be hooked up to the headphone socket.Sparx52 wrote:What is switch for? And where does the speaker negative go? Switch is where if you look at the image for the audio fix it's the orange line, and negative you get from the headphone socket.
