Re: I Like Big Batteries! (and i cannot lie)
I fixed it, no worries. Still having the same issue I always have had though. Even with 100% charging the batteries outside the GBZ I immediately get battery low warning and then it shuts down.

No they are battewries I took from phones with smashed screens. I am thinking that is the issue though. Just to be safe I rewired all of my power circuitry tonight (this morning? idk, it's 3 A.M. now) and it sure looks like it is lacking power. When the pi has activity the screen and powerboost led dim. I am going to try to get one of the batteries from @Dextech, but they seem like they are hard to get. My last battery would barely last an hour and was supposedly a 4000mAh.

Do you have a testing device like a voltmeter ?
Charge each battery individually and test them, you should read around 4.2V when fully charged otherwise, just throw them to the battery recycle bin

Depending on where you are located, you have the MbuyNow 4800mAh Samsung Galaxy S2/i9100 battery that fits the battery case of the DMG with a little grinding... Many people here (so do i) use it !

And i forgot to say that putting batteries in parallel is not a difficult thing but should require you to pay attention to what you are doing. You can easily ruin a pack or make it explode, burn and so...

I charged and tested them both and they both reached 4.2v. I charged them in the broken phones before soldering them up. I might have to look into that battery. I just hate ordering things that do not fit. I have a ton of 4000mAh batteries laying around that I can't make fit in the case

I can't find one over 3200 here, but I found this. Might have an appropriate sized one in it.

EDIT
I ordered it so I'll find out in a week

I don't want to be that guy, but have you looked up proper procedure for wiring batteries together ? It can be very dangerous having 2 batteries in parallel that we're properly matched, as current can flow into a lower battery and cycle, potentially causing an explosion.SumCanadianGuy wrote: ↑Fri Sep 01, 2017 4:09 pmI have 2 Samsung phone batteries wired together in mine. One is 3100 and one is 2000 so I effectively have a very slim 5100mAh in my unit. I literally just wired it up and am currently charging it so I am not sure how long it will run for yet.
EDIT: Such beautiful. Much cable managed. So Samsung. Wow.
